Time Warner Cable has just launched VoiceZone, which lets you control and customize your home phone from your computer, TV, or mobile device. It’s a free app you can download on your PC, laptop, smartphone, or tablet, so you can remotely manage your phone service without having to use your phone. This means you can program and manage convenient calling features such as Caller ID, No Calls Now, and 3-way calling right from your iPhone or iPad.
VoiceZone includes Visual Voicemail, which lets you view your messages online and listen to them in any order. Another versatile app is VoiceZone on TV, which allows you to control your home phone with your TWC remote. For iPhones, Androids, and iPads, and other tablets, you can utilize the My TWC app to access VoiceZone.
This is a welcome development, since other home phone providers have long since included online phone management with their calling plans. Because Time Warner Cable usually serves areas that have access to other competing providers, adding VoiceZone to their home phone service is necessary to stay competitive and keep their customers. Since this is a free service, customers don’t have to worry about seeing their rates go up. More customization and control without having to pay more—what more could a customer want?
