Comcast’s NBC Division Hosting Hurricane Sandy Benefit Concert With Springsteen, Bon Jovi, Sting, & Christina Aguilera

Comcast’s content network division NBCUniversal will be holding a one-hour benefit concert on Friday night to raise much needed money for the victims of Hurricane Sandy. The special concert will feature performances by iconic musicians such as Bruce Springsteen, Billy Joel, Jon Bon Jovi, Christina Aguilera, and Sting.

Viewers can watch the concert/telethon from 8 to 9 p.m. EST, and will be broadcast on NBC and its cable networks including USA Network, Bravo, CNBC, E!, G4, MSNBC, Style, and Syfy. Today Show anchor Matt Lauer will be the host for the telethon, and will feature appearances NBC Nightly News’ Brian Williams and Jimmy Fallon, late night show host and former SNL Weekend Update anchor.

All money raised from the concert will be donated to the American Red Cross to help with its hurricane relief efforts.
