With the HBO original series “Game Of Thrones” gearing up to start its 3rd season, the premier cable channel has decided to maximize exposure by teaming up with Time Warner Cable to promote the much anticipated season premiere. The new season of the critically acclaimed period/fantasy drama will be broadcast on Sunday, March 31.
This season, viewers can: enter to win a life size replica of the “Iron Throne”, take advantage of a special HBO offer available only for Time Warner Cable customers, attend special customer screenings in five cities, and even get “fast track” entrance to a “Game Of Thrones” Exhibition in New York City.

Fans can participate in the “Game Of Thrones” Sweepstakes, where contestants can win an Iron Throne replica and a free one year subscription for Time Warner Cable services. Current Time Warner Cable customers can also enjoy an exclusive preview offer from HBO and Cinemax, which starts on March 29 and ends on March 31.
The special customer screenings will be held in the following cities from March 21 to March 27: Los Angeles, CA; New York, NY; Dallas, TX; Albany, NY; and Wilmington, NC.
The Games Of Thrones Exhibition in New York City will feature props and costumes from the show, weaponry, an Iron Throne photo opportunity, original costume sketches, season 1 and 2 storyboards, and the Battle of Blackwater Bay interactive experience. The exhibition can be seen free of charge by the general public from March 28 to April 3, while Time Warner Cable customers and HBO subscribers who bring their last bill can qualify for “fast track” access to the exhibition.
